And so began the evening of the 25th...

Tawny, Sabrina, Sarah, Laura and myself had a wonderfully chatty evening with pizza and bread sticks followed by a teary viewing of the movie "A Walk to Remember". I just love these girls. Living here just gets better and better. We've designated girls night for Thursdays and I know they are just going to get better. When all is said and done there is nothing better than losing sleep because you are thoroughly enjoying the company of those around you. I went to bed with the smell of fingernail polish in the air and was completely content having been surrounded by giggles and girlfriends. I am blessed.

Music...Beautiful Music

Last night indeed falls under the category of fun. I can't get over how much I enjoy Tawny and Sabrina's company. We all hung out talking and listening to music. We did one of my favorite sharing; sitting down in front of the computer, going through a music library and just enjoying different songs. I like seeing where tastes are similar and where they're different. It brings me a lot of joy and stress relief.

Music is so amazing. It has so many abilities. It can inspire and encourage. It can bring people together. It can help us express ourselves in ways we otherwise wouldn't be able to. It can pump us up or settle us down. It can lull us to sleep or wake us up in the morning. It can bring the spirit and flood your heart with emotion. It can paint a picture. It can tell a story. Music is a master of apathy and a advocate of sympathy. It is a fighter for freedom and an encourager of individuality. It is ageless. It is timeless. It is and forever will be. I'm grateful for my passion for music and the blessing of sound and that Heavenly Father aloud me to hear it all.

I've moved into another new phase of life. It has been an adventure and I feel so blessed, grateful and excited for it. I moved into the cutest little house with Tawny Parker and Sabrina Sandry. I am FINALLY going to be able to have a good roommate experience. They are wonderful examples and Tawny and I are becoming better and better friends every day. I love it.

I don't know what got into me today but I just felt like baking up some goodness in the kitchen and ended up quite proud of myself. I baked homemade oreos and banana bread...and they turned out FANTASTIC!! I was surprised. I don't consider myself much of a cook at all and I mentally prepared myself for failure when I started my two projects, but to my satisfaction I happened upon two tasty creations that were the opposite of fail. My family devoured them. I was fun. I'm hoping to keep practicing and get better at cooking and baking. Hopefully it will be fun!

New Job

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was a GREAT day!! I went to work for Brian this morning and an hour or so before I got off, I received a phone call from Jim Joy, the head of HR at WSCU. He said "Kelsee, this is Jim. How are you?... So, are you ready to start working for Weber State Credit Union?"

I about screamed!! I was sooo excited!! A real, full time job with full benefits and tons of room for growth. I start training tomorrow morning. They are giving me a crash coarse in training since I just came from a teller position elsewhere so I'll be out working at the North Branch starting next Monday.

Man, I can not even believe this!! I feel so immensely blessed. I was only out of a job for...well I suppose I never was. Who gets laid off and doesn't have a day of outage? that is incredible. Getting laid off was really a blessing in disguise because I got an even better job out of it. Amazing.
